The NSF IGERT and NSF Bridge to the Doctorate Programs are proud to present the 2nd Annual Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Research Symposium “Cultivating and Developing Research Leaders for the New Millennium” at the USF Research Park on Wednesday, April 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All USF graduate students (MS or PhD) involved in research at the intersections of disciplines in engineering/computer science, the life sciences (medicine), and/or the physical sciences are eligible to participate.
Students with accepted abstracts, poster presentations and 2-page submitted papers will receive $500 travel awards. Travel awards can only be used to present their research/ findings at professional meetings (domestic or international). IGERT and Bridge to the Doctorate fellows are ineligible for awards.
Last year, this inaugural event was favorably received with over 65 posters exhibited. Click here to read more.
This event will be an ideal setting for USF's best and brightest young scientists and engineers to meet peers in a professional/social environment and showcase their accomplishments. It will also foster professional and scientific interaction to extend connections beyond the home department. Cocktails, food, and music entertainment will be provided.
